Since 2012, the “House Of Hope” team in Linz has been accompanying refugees on their way to a successful integration in Austria. After 10 years of ministry we’ve had to say goodbye to our first “House Of Hope” location.

We are currently supporting refugees through integration assistance and practical help in a cooperation between International Teams Austria, our umbrella organization, and the Salem International Church in Linz. But since we serve a God of hope, our ministry shall continue at a new location for the “House Of Hope”.

PROGRAMS

GERMAN CLASSES

We offer German classes to all asylum-seekers.

Material: Schritte Plus Neu

Costs: Only course books must be payed privately (approx. €23,50 per course e.g. A1 level 1)

Course days:

A1 Level 1: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 14:00 PM to 15:30 PM

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 16:00 PM to 17:30 PM

A1 Level 2: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
A2 Level 1: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM

The german classes start at the beginning of October if there are 5 or more students per

class and end mid July (complete course).

We accept late entries at any time (depending on the knowledge of German and the

number of participants in the course).

Every Tuesday from 14:00 PM to 17:00 PM

Activities:

Engaging in conversation, developing friendships, eating cake and drinking coffee, playing games, helping with german classes and schooling, helping with documents
